Bright and sunny today , in the upper 20’s but no wind so not too bad. I like it when its like this makes me want to get up and move about.
Snapped a few of my usual subjects.

Guess how this picture was taken! I just think she looked so cute with her tongue sticking out like that!

Here I told Phoebe to hold Onie up and Onie thought it was hilarious. You can see Onie’s two sparkling teeth!

just a different look of Phoebe.

cold outside. January 16, 2008

I’m back! I was out for a bit. I went to Florida for some workshop. Hoping for an improved photographs in the future. It was very empowering and encouraging. One thing for sure I got a long way to go but there is some light at the end of this tunnel.
When I left NC, the weather was really good, I think it was in the low 70’s. I remembered  we went out for lunch and I was in my shorts! That’s rare in January in my neck of the woods. When I came back it was back to our normal which is high 40’s. Not fun.
I had some practice today. Thank you to my dear daughter for being such a good sport. We would run in and out of the house, shoot a few and do it all over again. She thought it was funny.

Here she is at the front of the house with her cheeky little smile.
This one one of my favorite, at the back of the house and I told her to lay on the brick floor, which is by the way very cold! She was saying to do it really fast because it was sooooo cold!
Another one at the back of the house, this is before I asked her lay down.

weather break. January 7, 2008

After a long spell of cold weather, (I shouldn’t be complaining about it considering what’s happening out west this is nothing! but anyhow..) we were all stuck in the house. But today was gorgeous! Bright and sunny and in the mid 60’s! I can’t believe it! So, I let loose my two girls outside for a long bit while DH was out doing his big sunday ride. Onie as always picking up everything she gets her hands on and stuffing it in her mouth. Just a lot of dried leaves and pebbles, while Phoebe was busy playing with her chalks writing her name backwards (like EBEOHP.. whew! that was hard!!! I had to figure it out at first..).. I don’t know why she did that..  until I can’t keep up with Onie who is just very determined to choke herself up! I have to bring them back in. Here is a snap of my little muncher.

This is my 2007 Christmas Card. I’m posting it now since I’ve already sent it off to all family and friends and to all my friends here, this is all for you, though it’s a month late! hehehehe.. Onie’s picture was taken 3months before when I was still in Cebu while Phoebe’s is more recent.

messed up schedule. January 4, 2008

DH got a call from my pediatrician’s office yesterday reminding us that Oenone will have her check-up today. I was perplexed because I know she won’t be due until next month but DH insisted that I should just go. So we went this morning only to be told that I was seeing another doctor who is in Family Practitioner. Oooops! not likely, for one thing I didn’t make the appointment. And to make it more confusing, the receptionist said that I have another schedule 45mins after with my pediatrician.. hahaha! Now, it’s getting quite clear there is a big mixed up! Blame the computer, easier to do.. So, we went back home, we are sticking to our previous schedule, that would be next month on Valentines Day! Yes, no less!
A few of my daughters in the tub having a blast.

Phoebe with her pretty smile.

Oenone is always taking some sip of that bath water, On’s stop it!

Yes, On’s you can’t eat the suds, it doesn’t taste good.. aaaaarggh!!!

my babies. January 1, 2008

I’m married for five years now and we have two lovely daughters. The oldest Phoebe is 4 yrs. old and the youngest Oenone is 8 months old.

Phoebe is more serious, smart and thoughtful and the sweetest little girl. She calls all kids her friend. She’s got a streak of hardheadedness but that doesn’t really surprise me, kids are just are.
Oenone is the most smiling baby I’ve known. She just lights up the room with her funny personality. She loves music and starts dancing when it is upbeat. She loves to eat too. She just have to have a bite of whatever everyone is having. She can stand on her own now and has walked few baby steps and climbed upstairs. Can’t leave her out of sight for she can really get in trouble that quickly.
This picture was taken Christmas Day at grandma’s place. It was fun to see the joy in Phoebe’s face when she opened all her gifts, my little one has no clue of what was going on but was very happy to stuff the colorful wrappers in her mouth, she just have to taste it.
Not much going on today.  I’m reading The Pillars of The Earth by Ken Follett, it’s been really good so far, kept me up so late last night I can’t put it down and I have to tell myself to just stop and have to do it again today! With my kids and all the other chores in the house, I think I will be able to finish this in 48 years! hehehehe! we’ll see.
